As the fashion industry is one of the largest polluters of our beautiful planet, it is therefore critical that clothing companies start to adopt more sustainable practices. We only have this one chance to protect our world in every way that we can so that our future generations can experience what we take for granted. That is why we at 3rd planet are committed to embedding sustainability into the heart of all our production and sales processes.
Certified Sustainable Materials and Ethical Factories

Our eco-conscious journey starts with the materials used to produce our clothing, which are sourced from reputable, industry-leading suppliers who integrate sustainability throughout their entire operation. 3rd planet pledges to utilise materials that are either organically grown, or are recycled, and thereby do not contribute to the significant global waste burden generated by the Fast Fashion industry.

We source 100% organic cotton, 100% organic Bamboo, recycled cotton and recycled plastic clothing that is certified by the leading international regulatory bodies such as GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), OCS (Organic Content Standard), GRS (Global Recycled Standard), OEKO-TEX (Standard 100 for harmful substances) and PETA (Vegan certification).

The factories that produce our clothing are also members of FWF (Fair Wear Foundation) that audits labour conditions in the garment production premises, thus ensuring workers have the rights to fair pay and safe working conditions.

3rd planet also tries to tackle the waste associated with Fast Fashion practices, where the short-lived seasonal styles using lower quality, shorter longevity materials, lead to millions of tons of clothing waste being dumped into landfills or incinerators every year.
We at 3rd planet are committed to adopting a slow fashion approach, where we utilise only high quality, longer lasting materials for all our clothing, as well as generating designs that are timeless, and don’t go out of season every few months.

To “slow” fashion down even further, 3rd planet only manufactures clothing to order. We do not hold stock levels of multiple designs which may remain unsold at the end of a season and have to then be disposed of.

Eco-conscious shipping
Finally, all of our shipments are made in dedicated recyclable and compostable packaging, thus ensuring that we don’t contribute to the waste plastic burden on our beautiful planet.

3rd planet is committed to doing as much as we can in all of our practices to reduce the cycle of waste associated with the clothing industry. However, we admit that we may not be perfect and will always strive towards adopting more innovative sustainable practices as they become available.
